About Us
At Solvy, a small and dynamic IT company, we are passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. We are expanding our team to include a dedicated and experienced QA Engineer who can help build and strengthen our quality assurance processes. Our team consists of 12 talented professionals, and we are looking for someone to help lead the charge in ensuring our products maintain the highest standards of quality.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer who is well-versed in testing processes and documentation. You will not only take the lead in building a structured QA process but also have the opportunity to guide a junior QA, shaping the next generation of talent at Solvy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA process for our software development projects
• Design, document, and maintain test cases, scripts, and testing scenarios in a structured and clear manner
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Guide and mentor junior QA team members, providing them with training and support
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of testing into the development lifecycle
• Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in software, and work closely with the team to ensure resolution
• Continuously improve testing practices and tools within the company

Requirements

• English level B2+
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer in a software development environment
• Strong understanding of the theory behind testing processes and testing documentation
• Ability to guide, mentor, and support junior QA engineers
• Excellent skills in documenting test cases, processes, and outcomes in a structured and logical manner
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems

Nice to Have

• Experience with setting up or improving QA processes in a small company or startup environment
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
