Our client, a leading multinational company, is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to take full ownership of its Chemical Production Plant located 350 km from Tashkent. This is a full-time, non-rotation position (5/2 work schedule).

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

• Lead a team of 50+ professionals, focusing on operational efficiency, reliability, cost control, and continuous improvement.

• Ensure adherence to EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies, in close cooperation with the country EH&S team.

• Maintain strong customer relationships, handling day-to-day operational issues including safety, plant maintenance, and reporting.

• Manage interactions with authorities and third parties (inspections, environmental agencies, contractors, suppliers, etc.).

• Collaborate closely with regional teams within the Central Europe/Central Asia organization.

• Be available for stand-by and on-call duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory.

• Engineering degree (Chemical, Mechanical, or related Technical field).

• 10+ years of experience in a leadership role managing operating facilities in the chemical, steelmaking, or O&G industries (experience with SMR – steam methane reforming is a plus).

• Proven ability to lead multi-functional teams in a matrix organization.

• Strong strategic planning, safety-first mindset, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in handling customer relationships and commercial contracts.
