Mapbox Minsk R&D center (OOO MapData) enables navigation for people, packages and vehicles. Our underlying maps represent the ever-evolving world, accessing, aggregating, and adapting anonymous data from millions of sensors and phones in real-time.
What You'll Do
The HR Operations Specialist supports Mapbox employees by developing and maintaining HR Operations processes and programs. We are seeking an enthusiastic, analytical individual with a creative mind and desire to learn. The role will provide support to employees within the European regions and work closely with all of our HR, Finance, and IT teams.
Responsibilities:

Frontline HR contact for the lifecycle of employee needs

Employee lifecycle includes new hire onboarding, from paperwork to facilitating sessions, through employee questions and updates, and employee offboarding

Administers employee paperwork both in-person and electronically

Responsible for benefits enrollment and administration by employee region

Maintains employee records, documents, and reporting in Mapbox’s HRIS

Facilitates employee requests to update personal information, obtain employment letters, and other ad hoc requests

Responsible for immigration and relocation processes for employees in Europe and consults with Mapbox’s attorneys on the employees’ behalves

Triages HR ticketing system and handles first level questions

Manages time & attendance and leave administration/tracking

Consults with external counsel on employment regulations in the regions that we support and administers contract updates periodically

Assists with company reporting and audits

Assists with HR requisitions and invoicing.
What We Believe are Important Traits for This Role
-
2+ years experience in administration role (HR Specialist/Assistant, Office Manager, Department Assistant)
-
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) both with the internal customers
and external providers

Ability to work with large document flow and a large number of requests

Experience working in Rippling HRIS (or similar HRIS software)
-
English not lower than B2 (upper-intermediate)
-
Positive attitude, result oriented, fast learner, motivated with desire to develop within HR function.
