We are looking for a Freight Manager for the Key Account Department!
The incumbent should negotiate with key clients in English, plan and coordinate transportation
Requirement:
- excellent knowledge of English at B2-C1, C2 level
- Experience of working in client-oriented industry (restaurant, hotel reception, stores, etc)
- Stress tolerance, self-confidence and healthy self-esteem will be very helpful in the job
- Proficient use of a PC (all candidates must pass a PC proficiency test);
- Ability to make quick decisions and work under time pressure;
- Very good work organization and analytical skills;
- Fast typing on a keyboard;
- Communication skills, assertive and ability to work as part of a team;
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts
FREIGHT MANAGER DUTIES
Receive quote request
Plan and coordinate shipments
• Decide the best routes and type of truck.
• Schedule pick-ups and deliveries.
Negotiate with carriers
• Find and select freight carriers.
• Negotiate rates and contracts.
• Build relationships to ensure reliable service.
Manage costs
• Analyze shipping expenses.
• Look for ways to reduce costs (e.g., better routing).
Communicate with client
• Perfect communication with the client.
• Quotation in 10 minutes.
• Margin from revenue 10%
Track shipments
• Monitor the movement of goods in real time.
• Solve problems if shipments are delayed.
• Keep clients updated.
