We are seeking a Revenue Accountant to become a crucial part of the Revenue Accounting & Collection team, a dynamic global financial division supporting clients around the world within the framework of international financial reporting standards.

The position involves managing general ledger entries, performing month-end closing activities, and handling accounts receivable functions.

Responsibilities

• General ledger-related tasks
• Prepare and manage general ledger entries, including revenues, accruals, and deferrals
• Verify financial terms in client contracts and apply them accurately to accounting records
• Complete month-end closing procedures and maintain financial accuracy
• Provide assistance with annual and interim audit requests
• Accounts receivable-related tasks
• Issue invoices and ensure accurate journal entry preparation
• Draft financial statements and reports summarizing accounts receivable status
• Communicate with customers and clients via email or telephone to address inquiries
• Maintain up-to-date records of payment schedules and oversee collection efforts
• Record incoming payments from customers in the system
• Update and manage vendor forms for client records

Requirements

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related academic area
• 1+ years of professional experience in accounting or financial roles
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and legal requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas
• English language proficiency at a B2+ level for both verbal and written communication

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of IFRS or US GAAP principles
• DipIFR/ACCA or similar certification
• Familiarity with SAP for financial and accounting processes
• Flexibility to adapt to new processes and tools with ease
• Competency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously
