Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage vendor invoices and payment transactions accurately and promptly.

• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain supplier records and documentation

• Track and manage the acquisition and disposal of fixed assets.

• Ensure proper depreciation calculations and asset valuations

• Prepare fixed asset reports and analyses as required

• Calculate and process employee wages, bonuses, and deductions

• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, including payroll taxes

• Prepare payroll tax returns and ensure timely remittance to tax authorities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT regulations and ensure compliance in invoicing and reporting.

• Prepare payroll tax reports accurately and on time.

• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for management

• Provide detailed analyses of accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll expenses

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to accounts payable and payroll.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Accountant specializing in accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll

• Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and payroll tax requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
