Supports daily HR operations, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative support to the HR department. Key responsibilities include managing HR information systems, facilitating employee relations, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and contributing to a positive workplace culture within the hotel environment:
Key Responsibilities include:
- Administrative Support: Assist the HR team and manager with various human resources functions and initiatives.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and secure employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employees and management regarding HR programs, policies, and issues.
- Payroll & Benefits: May be involved in processing payroll and administering employee benefits.
- Compliance: Ensure work visas, permits, and other documentation are correct and up-to-date.
- HRIS & Systems: Use HR information systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems, and other relevant software.
- Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee and property records.
Candidate Profile:
- HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR principles and employment law. Experience in hospitality HR is an advantage
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with staff.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to resolve staff concerns effectively.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS), payroll software, and applicant tracking systems.
- Adaptability: Flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic hotel environment.
- Confidentiality: The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
