SaM Solutions is looking for a talentedTest Automation Engineer with at least 3 years of practical commercial experience and a strong understanding of software quality assurance and test automation to participate in a prospective project.

Main responsibilities:

• Developing and supporting automated tests (UI and API) using Cypress at a high level.
• Integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines): setting up parallel execution, collecting artifacts (videos, screenshots), generating reports (e.g., using Mochawesome).
• Deep understanding of DOM and network interaction, including intercepting and mocking GraphQL/REST requests (stubbing, mocking), validating network events.
• Creating custom Cypress commands, using and configuring plugins.
• Optimizing automated tests: parallelization, running across environments, working with large amounts of test data.
• Developing E2E scenarios for complex business processes, including chains such as: order inventory delivery return.
• Deep knowledge of Postman: building collections using environment variables, pre/post-request scripts (JavaScript), test data generation, GraphQL and REST API testing, running collections for regression testing.
• Participation in the design and implementation of integration and end-to-end tests.
• Development and implementation of QA strategy for distributed systems: requirements analysis, selection of automation approaches (UI/API/Integration), coverage definition, metrics-based quality control (coverage), test documentation support.
• Working with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket), participation in QA code review.
• Collaboration with the development and analytics team, active participation in Agile processes (Scrum).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in test automation.
• Proficiency in Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience with Postman, writing complex collections and scripts.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and REST API, experience in testing them.
• Understanding of integration and end-to-end testing principles.
• Skills in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket.
• Experience in writing QA strategies and planning automation.
• English proficiency at the level of reading documentation and communicating with customers (B2 and higher).
• Ability to develop and maintain automated frameworks.
