We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with strong experience in Web3 and blockchain-based application testing. You will be responsible for validating the reliability, usability, and security of our Perp DEX across its entire stack—UI/UX, backend services, smart contracts, and trading flows. Your work will directly impact the quality and stability of a platform used by traders worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop structured test plans and strategies tailored to Web3 applications, focusing on functionality, performance, security, and interoperability.

Test Case Design

• Create comprehensive test cases covering both positive and negative scenarios.

• Ensure full coverage of core DEX features such as perpetual contracts, margin and leverage mechanisms, liquidity interactions, oracle integrations, and on-chain/off-chain components.

Manual Testing Execution

• Manually execute test cases across the full Perp DEX stack—including frontend UI, backend API logic, trading workflows, wallet interactions, and (if applicable) smart contracts.

• Identify defects with detailed documentation for engineering teams.

Regression Testing

• Perform regression suites to confirm that new features or patches do not break existing functionality.

• Ensure stability after smart contract upgrades, backend changes, or UI releases.

Compatibility & Cross-Platform Testing

• Test across a variety of browsers, devices, and operating systems.

• Ensure consistent UX and performance for diverse users and environments.

Usability & UX Testing

• Assess application usability, discover pain points, and recommend UX improvements tailored to trading behaviors and DeFi user expectations.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and issue reports.

• Communicate findings clearly to developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Web3 Research

• Stay updated on testing practices for DeFi, DEXs, L2s, and blockchain ecosystems.

• Suggest tooling, process improvements, and methodologies to raise QA efficiency and product quality.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 2+ years of experience in blockchain/Web3 application testing.

• Strong English proficiency (B2–C1) with confident communication skills.

• Understanding of typical DeFi user activities such as staking, liquidity provision, airdrop-related flows, etc.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Solid knowledge of software QA principles, methodologies, and best practices.

• Proven ability to write clear, structured, and comprehensive test cases.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a user-first mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with perpetual futures platforms or any type of DEX.

• Familiarity with smart contract behavior, EVM tools, and blockchain explorers.

• Understanding of trading workflows (order placement, liquidation logic, funding rates, etc.).
