What You Will Do

This junior-level role sits at the intersection of research, CRM data management, and business development operations. The position supports the commercial team by ensuring that contact data, research insights, and opportunity tracking remain accurate and organized.

The role offers exposure to tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Excel, while also providing opportunities to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency within the business development function.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with an interest in research, data management, and business operations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on charities, target accounts, and potential new business opportunities to support the business development team.
  • Identify, enrich, and maintain high-value contacts within target accounts using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other sources.
  • Manage CRM data including importing/exporting contacts, resolving duplicates, and maintaining clean, accurate records.
  • Track RFPs, contracts, and potential business opportunities, alerting the team to emerging opportunities.
  • Categorize contacts into relevant marketing and non-marketing workstreams (e.g., Performance Media, Brand Marketing, UX, Data, Technology/Martech, Fundraising).
  • Use Excel, Google Sheets, and other tools for data management, reporting, and process optimization.
  • Communicate proactively with senior team members, ensuring information is delivered timely and independently.
  • Explore and suggest improvements in research processes, new tools, or methods to optimize workflow.
  • Create and maintain regular reports on contact research progress, CRM data quality, and target account coverage.
  • Track key outreach and data metrics to support business development and revenue operations initiatives.
  • Assist in building and maintaining reporting dashboards using Excel, Google Sheets, Hubspot or other systems.
  • Provide structured reporting on new opportunities, RFP tracking, and contract intelligence research.
  • Support the business development team by organizing contact data, outreach lists, and research outputs used for campaigns and partnership development.
  • Assist in improving internal processes related to lead research, CRM data management, and opportunity tracking.
  • Coordinate with senior team members to ensure research tasks, data updates, and operational requests are completed efficiently.
  • Explore and suggest improvements in research processes, tools, and automation opportunities.

What You Bring

  • Strong English communication skills; able to understand and engage with a fully English-speaking team.
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred, but other CRM experience acceptable).
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, including formulas and data manipulation.
  • Experience creating reports or working with data dashboards in Exce, Google Sheets, Hubspot is a strong plus.
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and ability to work independently.
  • Interest in technology and innovative research tools; willingness to adopt new methods.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple research and operational tasks.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
  • Interest in operations, process improvement, and supporting business development workflows.
