The candidate will act as a bridge between Uzbekistan’s startup ecosystem and global capital markets, ensuring high-quality pipeline generation and long-term partnerships with venture funds.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in venture capital, startups, investment, or business development
- Strong understanding of VC ecosystem, fundraising, and startup lifecycle
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (C1+)
- Proven ability to build partnerships and manage pipelines
- Analytical mindset and ability to evaluate startups and markets
- Experience in ecosystem building or startup support programs is a strong plus
- Build and maintain relationships with international venture capital funds
- Attract foreign VC funds to explore and invest in Uzbekistan
- Prepare and manage a high-quality pipeline of Uzbek startups for investors
- Organize meetings, pitch sessions, and investor engagement activities
- Support VC funds in sourcing and entering the Uzbek market
- Work with local startups to improve investment readiness and positioning
- Collaborate with ecosystem stakeholders (accelerators, government, funds)
- Experience in VC fund operations or investment analysis
- Existing network of international investors or funds
- Experience with startup accelerators or incubation programs
- Understanding of emerging markets and cross-border investments
