Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Head of Tax to lead and manage all tax-related matters within the organization. The role includes ensuring full compliance with local tax legislation, optimizing tax processes, and providing strategic tax guidance to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 8–9 years of experience in the tax field

• Manager level is highly preferred

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation

• Oversee all tax operations and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
• Manage tax planning, reporting, and risk assessment
• Supervise preparation and submission of tax returns
• Lead communication with tax authorities and external auditors
• Provide guidance on tax optimization and efficiency
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the business

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), refundable taxes, and taxation of residents
• Proven managerial experience and ability to lead a team
• Solid understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in handling tax audits and interactions with tax authorities

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Oracle systems (e.g., Oracle ERP)
• Professional certifications in taxation, accounting, or finance (ACCA, CPA, DipIFR, or similar)

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Employment in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
• Office location - Almaty International Airport
• Work schedule 5 days per week, working hours from 8.00 to 17.00 (lunch break from 12.00 to 13.00)
