The Commercial Director will be fully responsible for defining and executing the overall commercial and sales strategy of Haier across the Middle Asia region, including Kazakhstan, the Caucasus, and Central Asian countries.
The role covers all sales channels, including Retail Sales, Ecommerce, and Brand Shops, with full P&L responsibility and accountability for revenue growth, market share, profitability, and brand presence.

Job responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the regional commercial and sales strategy aligned with global objectives.
  • Take full ownership of sales results, revenue growth, profitability, and market share across all countries and channels.
  • Lead and develop Retail, Ecommerce, and Brand Shop sales channels, ensuring differentiated gotomarket strategies and healthy channel balance.
  • Oversee pricing, promotions, and commercial terms to prevent channel conflict and margin erosion.
  • Lead and manage regional and country sales teams, driving a performanceoriented culture with clear KPIs.
  • Own sales planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting, including planvsactual analysis.
  • Drive new product launches, portfolio optimization, and market development initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends and competition, identifying growth opportunities across the region.
  • Manage relationships and negotiations with key partners, distributors, retailers, and marketplaces.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and HQ to ensure aligned execution.
Requirements:
  • Proven seniorlevel experience as Commercial Director, Sales Director, or General Sales Manager in consumer electronics / home appliances / FMCG.
  • Strong experience managing multicountry and multichannel sales organizations.
  • Deep understanding of retail sales, ecommerce, and brand shop operations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, profitability, and market share in emerging or developing markets.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with handson execution capability.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of financial and commercial acumen (P&L ownership).
  • Fluency in English and Russian is required; Kazakh and Chinese is a strong advantage.
  • International mindset and willingness to travel across the region.
