- Strictly comply with ASME standards, project specifications, and applicable technical requirements; clearly define weld joints requiring post weld heat treatment (PWHT) as well as joints exempted from PWHT.
- Perform continuous site supervision of preheating, interpass temperature control, and the entire post weld heat treatment (PWHT) process; verify proper thermocouple installation and compliance of heating and soaking arrangements with applicable requirements.
- Review temperature charts and temperature control records to confirm that heating, soaking, and cooling parameters comply with code and procedure requirements; sign off and maintain all relevant documentation and records.
- Verify the validity of calibration certificates for heat treatment equipment and temperature measuring instruments, and check personnel qualifications to ensure all field activities comply with applicable standards and project requirements.
Identify and address site violations and non-conformities in a timely manner; monitor corrective actions through full close-out; prepare and organize PWHT inspection and turnover documentation, and coordinate with clients, inspectors, and third parties during audits and inspections.
- Engineering Diploma in a relevant discipline
- Total experience of min. 3 years in the Oil & Gas industry (construction and source inspection).
- Certified to the related discipline in Quality
- Russian/Kazakh, knowledge of English
- Computer Skills: MS Office, AutoCAD
