A large international company is seeking a Head of Government Relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a government relations strategy aligned with business priorities
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, assess their impact, and advise senior management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations
• Coordinate and support projects involving government stakeholders, including public initiatives, incentive programs, and regulatory processes
• Identify regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on government-related matters

• Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Political Science, International Relations, Economics, or a related field
• Mandatory prior experience within a government institution (central/local government or regulatory authority)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory compliance
• Strong professional network within government entities and industry associations
• Excellent strategic thinking and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Expertise in policy analysis and risk management
• Fluency in Kazakh and English languages

• Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multinational companies or large-scale projects
• Proven track record in policy development and government partnership initiatives
