Kazakhstan Atyrau ( the adaptation/start stage) with further work in the USA
A dynamically developing logistics company, we are looking for an ambitious, systematic and experienced Logistics Director. The first time will be an internship in Atyrau, then with a permanent job in the USA
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic management: Development and implementation of the company’s logistics strategy in the USA
* Operational activities: Management and optimization of supply chains, coordination of cargo transportation
* Team management: Formation, training and motivation of an effective team of logisticians and dispatchers.
* Network development: Searching and building long-term partnerships with international carriers, brokers, warehouse operators and counterparties in the USA.
* Financial control: Optimization of logistics costs, planning and control of the department budget, minimizing risks.
* Automation: Implementation and control of the use of modern TMS, WMS and CRM systems for end-to-end monitoring of cargo.
Candidate requirements:
* Work experience: From 5–7 years in the field of cargo transportation and transport logistics (experience in international transportation will be a key advantage).
* Managerial experience: At least 3 years as a department head, logistics director or operations director.
* Language skills: Fluent English (Fluent/Advanced - required). Ability to negotiate, enter into contracts and navigate legal procedures fluently in an English-speaking environment.
* Professional knowledge:

* Deep understanding of the freight market, pricing principles, routing and international logistics standards.
o Knowledge of the legal aspects of transportation regulation (ideally, familiarity with the rules of FMCSA, DOT in the USA or the willingness to quickly master them).
* Readiness for relocation: Fundamental readiness and legal purity to move to the USA for permanent residence.
* Personal qualities: High level of autonomy, leadership qualities, proactivity, stress resistance and preparedness to work in cross functional mode
