Sales Planning Senior Specialist / Account Manager (Mining & Construction Equipment)

General description:

The role will be responsible for managing sales planning and operational alignment across regions of Mining & Construction machines, coordinating all required processes related to orders, inventory, and production, and interacting with internal teams, international manufacturing plants, and external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Careful collection, tracking, and updating of information on orders, sales, and equipment availability in stock
  • Interaction with manufacturing plants in Japan, the USA, Germany, and Italy to adjust production plans
  • Control and support of product certification in supply regions
  • Monitoring of marketing interactions with customers and partners
  • Analysis of “plan vs. actual” deviations in sales, orders, and inventory
  • Identification of shortage/excess risks and development of corrective measures
  • Ensuring balance between delivery timelines and inventory levels
  • Control of order changes and backlog management
  • Support of the sales team in terms of planning and product availability
  • Development of team competencies (analytics, planning tools)
  • Preparation of reports for company management and improvement of existing reports
  • Development of reporting in Power BI / Excel

Required experience

HARD skills:

  • Sales planning, demand forecasting, and inventory management expertise
  • Strong analytical skills (plan vs. actual analysis, KPI tracking, data interpretation)
  • Experience working with international manufacturing plants and supply chain coordination
  • Knowledge of production planning and order/backlog management processes
  • Risk management in supply planning (shortage/excess identification and mitigation)
  • Experience in product certification processes in different regions
  • Advanced reporting and data visualization skills (Power BI, Excel)
  • Experience in sales support planning and product availability control
  • Process improvement and reporting optimization experience
  • Fluent English (B2+) for international communication
