TASS Vision Country Partner, Armenia — Vitrac foot traffic analytics for retail chains

Job description

TASS Vision is opening its Armenia market and is looking for a senior B2B sales operator to lead commercial activity in the country as our Authorized Country Partner. You will own the full sales funnel for Vitrac, our AI-powered foot traffic and visitor analytics product for retail chains, and grow the business in Armenia as an independent operating partner working hand in hand with our Tashkent HQ.

This is not a salaried position. It is a long-term revenue-share partnership with a dedicated Partner Manager at HQ supporting you on product, marketing, and large deals. Exclusivity for Armenia is earned by performance, not granted at signing.

Job responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to retail chains in Armenia with 5+ store locations through direct calls, meetings, LinkedIn, and your existing network.
  • Run demos, pitches, and ROI conversations with retail CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Heads of Retail / Operations / IT.
  • Qualify leads, manage the pipeline, and close deals end to end — from first contact through signed contract.
  • Walk retail CFOs through payback and ROI math; sell at CFO level, not feature level.
  • Coordinate hardware logistics in-country: import, customs clearance, delivery, and installation at client sites.
  • Own the client relationship long-term — renewals, expansions, and account growth across new store openings.
  • Provide first-line technical support to clients and escalate complex cases to TASS HQ.
  • Report pipeline status to your Partner Manager at HQ on a regular cadence.
  • Build a small local team as deal volume grows.

Required qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B sales to retail chains (current or within the last 5 years). Your full career does not need to be in retail.
  • Senior background in retail technology or directly adjacent B2B sales: POS, retail ERP, CCTV and video surveillance, security and loss prevention, payment infrastructure, in-store hardware, merchandising, queue management, store fit-out, or retail consulting with implementation responsibility.
  • 5-7+ warm relationships with retail decision-makers (CEO, COO, CFO, Head of Retail / Operations / IT) at chains with 5+ stores in Armenia.
  • 3+ closed B2B deals in the past 3-5 years with retail organizations of 5+ stores.
  • Comfortable walking a retail CFO through ROI and payback math.
  • Legal entity in Armenia, or readiness to register one within 60 days. Company form preferred, not required.
  • Financial standing to fund a 3-5 month ramp before commission revenue compounds. There is no base salary.
  • Hardware logistics capability, or willingness to build it.
  • Languages: Armenian (native), Russian (fluent), English (working, B2 or higher).

Required skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills in full-cycle B2B sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with C-level retail executives.
  • Ability to run a pipeline independently and manage multiple deals in parallel.
  • Goal-oriented mindset; comfortable being paid only for results.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and coordinate across HQ time zones.
  • Experience working with international vendors or principals is a strong advantage.
  • Existing operating company with sales and logistics capacity is a plus.
  • Experience importing technical hardware into Armenia is a plus.

Additional information

  • Partnership format: independent Country Partner working on a revenue-share basis, recurring as long as the client remains active.
  • One Authorized Country Partner per market. Exclusivity for Armenia is earned by performance.
  • Dedicated Partner Manager at HQ as your day-to-day point of contact, with full HQ engagement on strategic and large deals.
  • Onboarding via remote sessions, with in-person visits possible.
  • Minimum commitment of 30 hours per week once signed.
  • Continuing your adjacent business is expected and welcome — it is the source of your network. Carrying POS, CCTV, ERP, or other store hardware is fine. Carrying direct retail-analytics competitors (V-Count, Sensormatic, RetailNext, Megacount, ShopperTrak, Brickstream, or local equivalents) is not.
  • Commercial details — exact revenue-share, performance milestones, hardware pricing structure, and co-marketing support — are discussed at the second interview.

Not the right fit

This role is unlikely to suit you if you are looking for a base salary, retainer, or hybrid employment; if you work as a pure strategy advisor without deal-closing responsibility; if you have been employed by a direct retail-analytics competitor in the last 12 months; if TASS would be one of many products in a large multi-vendor portfolio; or if your primary credential is governmental or political connections rather than sales execution into retail chains.
