new software (SW) specialized university in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, opened in Fall, 2025.
We are recruiting experienced professionals in the accounting sector to join our team.

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Accounting Manager with 6-7 years of professional experience in
accounting, preferably in the education sector, to oversee the financial operations of Woosong
University Kazakhstan. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of accounting tasks
while ensuring compliance with Kazakhstan’s accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
The employee shall be responsible for performing practical accounting tasks and final
settlement operations for Woosong University Kazakhstan. In addition, the employee will
manage various accounting-related duties, including organizing tax documents, preparing
budgets, and analyzing performance results.

• Perform general financial and managerial accounting tasks
  • General Income accounting tasks : Tuition fee collection, accounting, and
  • management of other income such as scholarships, donations or research grants.
  • General Payment and Tax related accounting task
  • Plan, manage, and monitor budget execution
• ERP System Operations: Use ERP systems to record transactions and general financial processes.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Compliance and Confidentiality: Ensure compliance with Kazakhstan accounting and tax regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with preference for candidates with experience in higher education institutions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Proven experience in financial and managerial accounting.
• Hands-on experience with tax affairs and financial closing (settlement) operations.
• Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• In-depth knowledge of Kazakhstan’s accounting regulations at both regional and federal levels.
