We are looking for a senior accountant for one of our offices, located in Cyprus, Limassol.

• Manage full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping for multiple group companies;

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);

• Prepare, review, and submit tax filings for group companies, including VAT, VIES, and GESY returns;

• Liaise with external service providers, auditors, consultants, and government authorities regarding financial reporting, tax compliance, and corporate matters;

• Provide guidance to colleagues on financial documentation processes, including invoices and supporting accounting documentation;

• Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and compliance with local regulatory requirements;

• Support the improvement, optimization, and automation of internal accounting and financial processes to increase operational efficiency;

• Assist management with financial reporting, financial analysis, and operational decision-making processes.

• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience within a large international company (Big 4 experience is considered a strong advantage);

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;

• ACCA or ACA qualification (completed or in progress) is highly desirable;

• Strong understanding of IFRS and Cyprus tax compliance requirements;

• Practical experience with VAT, VIES, GESY, and corporate accounting processes;

• Previous exposure to tax planning processes, including tax forecasting and tax optimization strategies, will be considered a strong advantage;

• Experience participating in process improvement, automation, or optimization of accounting and financial workflows will be considered a strong advantage;

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and accounting systems;

• Fluent English with confidence using professional financial and accounting terminology (Greek language skills will be considered an advantage);

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team environment;

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
