Planet VPN is looking for a Product Manager, Acquisition & Growth to own the full lifecycle of our marketing-facing products – from websites and landing pages to in-app activation flows and lead generation programs. You will sit at the intersection of marketing, design, and engineering, turning growth opportunities into shipped features and measurable results.
This is not a purely strategic role. You will write briefs, manage backlogs, run sprint reviews, track releases, and obsess over conversion metrics.
What you'll own
-
Web & landing page development – spec, prioritize, and ship pages optimized for paid traffic, SEO, and conversion across all markets.
-
Lead generation programs – build and iterate on funnels, freemium onboarding, referral flows, email capture mechanics, special seasonal projects etc.
-
In-app marketing surfaces – own upsell flows, promotional placements, and activation triggers across apps portfolio.
-
Internal marketing tooling – own and iterate on internal tools supporting the marketing team: UTM builder, URL shortener, admin interfaces, and similar productivity surfaces.
-
Release management – plan and track marketing-related releases in close collaboration with engineering and DevOps, manage QA cycles and rollout sequencing.
-
Analytics & performance – work with analysts to instrument tracking, and conduct regular reviews of funnel performance, conversion rates, and key acquisition metrics.
What we are looking for
-
5+ years in a product management, growth product, or technical project management role, ideally in a B2C SaaS or mobile app environment.
-
Strong project management skills coordinating end-to-end processes, proven experience shipping web and/or in-app features end-to-end – from a concept brief to QA to live.
-
Proven strong experience coordinating cross-functional teams including design, copywriting, development, QA, compliance, release control and sign-off procedures etc.
-
Working knowledge of how marketing tools integrate with product backends (e.g., attribution SDKs, analytics events, webhook-based triggers).
-
Solid understanding of web architecture, frontend/backend, and HTML/CSS.
-
Understands privacy-by-design constraints for a VPN/privacy product: consent frameworks (GDPR, ePrivacy), tracking limitations, and boundaries on data collection. Growth instrumentation must respect the company's privacy posture.
-
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines: deployment stages, staging vs. production environments, rollback procedures, and release sequencing.
-
Strong understanding of user motivation, user experience patterns, acquisition and conversion mechanics: landing page optimization, A/B testing, funnel analytics, marketing effectiveness metrics.
-
Data-driven mindset: experience using AI tools for workflow automation, and working with analytics dashboards as primary decision-making instruments.
-
Confident working in Agile environments: able to facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, prioritization, and retrospectives as the product owner, hands-on experience with Kanban for managing continuous delivery workflows.
-
Experience writing and maintaining well-structured Product Requirements Documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
-
Proven ability to run structured discovery: user research, competitive analysis, and problem validation before committing to solutions.
-
Fluent English and Russian.
- Build personal AI agents using our premium infrastructure.
- Absolute freedom to work from any location. (GMT+1– GMT+5).
- Internal R&D opportunities.
- Paid time off and sick leave.
- Direct impact on a massive, world-class B2C product.
- A collaborative environment with some of the best minds.
- Hardware upon completion of your probation.
If this sounds like you, we’ve been waiting for you! Let’s build the future of digital freedom together.
