The Audit Manager is responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, supervising engagement teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services in accordance with Deloitte methodologies, IFRS, ISA, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple audit engagements simultaneously and ensure timely delivery of high-quality services.
  • Lead engagement planning, risk assessment, execution, and completion of audit assignments.
  • Review work performed by engagement teams and provide technical guidance and coaching.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact throughout engagements.
  • Identify and resolve complex accounting, auditing, and reporting issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Deloitte audit methodology, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review engagement budgets, monitor project profitability, and manage resource allocation.
  • Communicate engagement progress, key risks, and issues to Partners and Directors.
  • Participate in business development activities, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
  • Support recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development of audit professionals.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, training initiatives, and continuous improvement of audit processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) completed or in progress.
  • 5+ years of external audit experience, preferably within a professional services firm
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in PCAOB engagements would be a plus
  • Experience managing audit engagements and leading teams.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
