Primary School Physical Education Teacher (English-Speaking)

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our Primary School team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity, health, teamwork, and personal well-being while contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery

• Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons for primary school students in English.

• Promote physical literacy, motor skill development, fitness, and healthy lifestyle habits.

• Integrate inquiry-based learning and student-centered approaches into PE instruction.

• Foster teamwork, leadership, resilience, and sportsmanship through physical activities.

Assessment and Student Development

• Encourage students to reflect on their learning, set goals, and take ownership of their personal development.

• Support the physical, social, and emotional well-being of all students.

School Life and Community

• Contribute to school sports events, competitions, and health-related initiatives.

• Support extracurricular sports programs and physical activity opportunities.

Professional Collaboration

• Work collaboratively within a multicultural educational environment.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Physical Education, preferably in a primary school setting.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Knowledge of Russian and/or Uzbek is an advantage.

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment for young learners.

• Experience in coaching, sports event organization, or extracurricular activities is preferred.

• IB experience, teaching certifications, coaching qualifications, or relevant professional development courses will be considered an advantage.
