Responsibilities:
- Maintain tax accounting in compliance with Kazakhstan legislation;
- Prepare and submit all major tax reports accurately and on time;
- Calculate, monitor, and ensure timely payment of tax liabilities;
- Handle tax accounting for non-resident transactions (goods and services);
- Prepare Form 101.04 and manage withholding tax calculations;
- Apply double taxation treaties and assess tax implications of cross-border contracts;
- Provide tax support for import operations (EAEU and third countries);
- Manage VAT accounting for import and cross-border transactions;
- Oversee foreign currency transactions, exchange differences, and related compliance;
- Reconcile accounting and tax data;
- Support tax audits and liaise with tax authorities, banks, consultants, and internal stakeholders;
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting;
- Proven hands-on experience with non-resident transactions;
- Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan tax legislation;
- Practical experience with withholding tax and Form 101.04;
- Experience applying double taxation treaties;
- Background in import operations and customs procedures (EAEU and third countries);
- Solid understanding of foreign currency regulations and accounting;
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (1C / Oracle Fusion ERP);
- Fluent English (spoken and written);
