We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Senior Consultant to join KPMG’s CIO Advisory team in Astana/Almaty. In this role, you will participate in projects focused on IT infrastructure audit, design, and optimization for clients in the banking, telecommunications, and public sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design fault-tolerant infrastructure solutions, including Tier III+ data centers, network architecture, virtualization environments, and active-active architecture.
• Conduct IT infrastructure audits and due diligence assessments.
• Develop disaster recovery (DR) plans and cloud migration strategies.
• Prepare presentations and technical documentation, including specifications and technical requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including data centers, networking, VMware/Hyper-V, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/Ansible, Zabbix/Prometheus, and Veeam Backup.
• Knowledge of Kazakhstan regulations related to fintech, telecommunications, and the public sector.
• Preferred certifications: CCNP Data Center, VMware VCP-DCV, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Certified Solutions Architect.
