As our campus and technology systems continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and service-oriented IT Assistant to join our Operations & Facilities team.
About the Role
The IT Assistant will be the first point of contact for daily technology support across the school. Working closely with the IT Manager, you will assist staff and students with technical issues, maintain IT equipment, and help ensure that all technology systems operate smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line technical support to staff and students.

Receive, log, and track IT support requests, escalating complex issues when required.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows software and applications.

Support Windows computers, Android devices, user accounts, access rights, and permissions.

Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

Prepare technology equipment for classrooms, offices, meetings, and school events.

Assist with basic printer maintenance and troubleshooting.

Support IT infrastructure, including network devices, switches, routers, and wireless access points.

Assist with user accounts, system updates, and routine maintenance.

Provide support for telephone/IP PBX and CCTV systems under supervision.

Maintain accurate IT inventory records and documentation.

Communicate with external IT suppliers and service providers when required.
Requirements
-
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar role is preferred.

Practical knowledge of Windows operating systems and Android devices.

Basic understanding of printers, networking equipment, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi systems.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

English proficiency: B1–B2 level or higher.

Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional advantage:

Experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

Knowledge of IP PBX systems (e.g., Grandstream).

Experience with CCTV systems (e.g., Hikvision).
