Accounting:
- reviewing accounting transactions in the accounting system and ensuring correctness as per IFRS.
- reviewing accounts payable/ receivable, aging analysis, Inter Company reconciliation.
- reviewing payments to be made to EPC contractors, suppliers, vendors, banks.
- monitoring monthly closing of accounts, reconciliations.
- ownership of the accounting records, completeness and accuracy.
Audit:
- responsible for preparing financial statements, schedules & notes-to-accounts for quarterly review.
- responsible for completing the year-end Audit and Audited Financials before the deadlines.
Compliances:
- Government reporting.
- liaise with Lenders for reporting covenants.
- ensuring regulatory payments (WHT, VAT, Land tax, etc.) within the due dates.
- ensuring timely submission of regulatory returns, forms.
Governance:
- ensuring conduct of Board Meetings, close Board approved matters in a timely manner.
- ensuring conduct of Shareholder Meetings.
- ensuring all Policies & Procedures are in place and regularly updated based on local regulations, Sponsors’ guidelines.
MIS:
- provide essential support to CEO, CFO and the Sponsors on Financial reporting matters.
- monthly MIS with variance analysis. supporting CFO for yearly budgeting activities, budget approval by shareholders on annual basis, periodic forecasting.
Treasury:
- ensuring timely availability of funds for project construction milestones.
- prepare the drawdown pack along with all required certifications, CPs.
- Working-capital management and cashflow forecast.
- ensure correctness of the interest/ swaps/ commitment fees/ commission calculations on loans.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Preference for master’s degree or higher degrees such as MBA, CA, CFA and etc.
Qualification requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- At least 3 years of experience in power industry is preferable.
- Proven experience in financial planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial strategy development.
- Experience in dealing with banks, financial institutions, monitoring and reporting covenants.
- Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Familiarity with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) or other applicable accounting standards.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal policies.
- Experience working with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present financial reports and strategic recommendations to executive management.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Uzbek and Russian (both verbal and written) be an advantage.
