Dear all, an international FMCG (Food) company is looking for Category Marketing Manager, location Dubai!
The Category Marketing Manager will be responsible for the execution and implementation of the marketing strategy for the relevant portfolio with the objective of achieving agreed and targeted growth in sales, market share and profitability.
CIS scope: covering all 11 countries.
- Assist Marketing Director in defining strategy and sub brand prioritization
New Products:
- Develop new product roadmap for all CIS countries for brands under his/her responsibility using category knowledge, insights and analytics
- Drive all activities needed to develop the agreed new products and follow up with all factories, Group Marketing, R&D, SCH to ensure these are launched on time, including artwork, regulatory and registration supervision
- Set RSP and volume targets aligned with the Sales teams
- Drive portfolio simplification with the support of Finance and Logistics across countries, using available data and considering long term strategy. Align final recommendation with the Sales team
- Implementation of all marketing activities(consumer support, including communication above and below the line, visibility tools) with the aim to grow sales, market share and profitability. This will include briefing and managing agencies
- Drive research projects needed for the brands under his/her responsibility by developing the brief, selecting the appropriate agency and using the results to increase the business
- Run diagnostic analysis on his/her business area using all available sources of information (market share, distribution, pricing, sales data) identifying root causes and proposing/implementing relevant actions
- Manage and monitor responsible budget, approve cost estimates, raise POs
- Work closely with Trade Marketing and Sales on all needed areas of the business

ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Degree: BA/BS minimum requirement (Area of study can range from Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance).
- Experience required:
- 5-7 years of FMCG Marketing in an international environment. Higher scope than the BM in size of business and significance of brands and portfolio managed
- Traveling time: once every 2-3 months approximately in different countries to review business as needed
