We are seeking an experienced Workface Planner to support construction execution by developing detailed work packages, coordinating field activities, and ensuring work is planned, sequenced, and executed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Installation Work Packages (IWPs), and supporting documentation in line with project execution plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Quality, and HSE teams to ensure all prerequisites are available before work is released to the field.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, material availability, and construction schedules to develop executable work packages.
• Ensure work packages contain all required information, including drawings, material lists, permits, safety requirements, quality documentation, and installation procedures.
• Monitor construction progress and update work package status to support short-term and long-term planning.
• Identify and resolve workface constraints, including engineering, material, equipment, labor, and access issues.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and construction teams to optimize work sequencing and improve field productivity.
• Participate in daily coordination, planning, and progress meetings, providing accurate updates on work readiness and execution status.
• Support schedule development, look-ahead planning, and resource forecasting to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and project documentation in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning, workface planning, or project controls within large-scale industrial, oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Workface Planning methodology, Construction Work Packages (CWPs), and Installation Work Packages (IWPs).
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with construction sequencing, scheduling, and field execution processes.
• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience on EPC or major capital projects is preferred.
• GCC experience is considered an advantage.
