Role Overview
The Analyst is a vital member of the Corporate Development Department, providing strategic advice, facilitating transactions, managing complex financial projects, and supporting portfolio companies as part of venture capital activities. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects across industries, combining business development responsibilities with hands-on financial analysis, paving the way for significant career advancement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models for company valuations and investment opportunities.
- Conduct financial due diligence and assess the viability of potential transactions.
- Perform industry and market analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality client presentations and pitch materials.
- Engage in independent negotiations with third parties within the scope of authority.
- Collaborate on business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
- Provide research and support for the preparation of comprehensive business plans and strategy.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, M&A, or financial consulting.
- Advanced quantitative and numerical skills, with proficiency in developing and interpreting financial models.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) in both English and Russian.
- A creative approach to solving problems and presenting insights.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to draw actionable conclusions from research and data analysis.
- High ethical standards and a results-driven attitude.
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning.
