Haileybury Astana is currently seeking a dedicated Junior School Receptionist.
Start date: Beginning of August 2026

Main Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage the whole-school academic calendar, ensuring it is accurate, up to date, and accessible to students, staff, and parents.
- Coordinate key school events, including examinations, parent-teacher conferences, INSET days, assemblies, CPD programmes, and other whole-school activities.
- Manage the school's SOCS calendar and provide logistical and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in planning meetings, events, and strategic initiatives.
- Support the planning, coordination, and submission of documentation required for school accreditations (e.g. CIS, COBIS, FOBISIA, IB), including coordinating accreditation visits and timelines.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and annual update of academic publications, including staff and parent handbooks.
- Communicate calendar updates and important school information to students, parents, and staff, and gather feedback to support the continuous improvement of school events and processes.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Senior Leadership Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in administration, project coordination, education, or a similar role, preferably within an international environment.
- Fluent English, Kazakh, and Russian (spoken and written).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Meet, etc.).
- Experience with calendar management systems (e.g. SOCS) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
