About the Role
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will be responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and scaling the company’s operational activities.
Working directly with the CEO and executive leadership team, you will ensure effective coordination across key operational departments, establish clear processes and performance standards, improve operational efficiency, and build a strong management system capable of supporting continued fleet and business growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with a deep understanding of business processes, performance management, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s operational strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Oversee and coordinate key operational functions across the organization.
- Build, standardize, and continuously improve scalable business processes and operational procedures.
- Improve fleet productivity, operational efficiency, service quality, and overall business performance.
- Establish clear accountability, reporting structures, and performance standards across departments.
- Develop and implement KPIs and performance management systems for operational teams and department leaders.
- Monitor key operational metrics, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Drive automation and implementation of technology-based solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration between Operations, Dispatch, Fleet, Safety, HR, Finance, and other departments.
- Work closely with department heads to improve productivity, accountability, and execution.
- Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Support fleet growth and ensure the company’s operational infrastructure can scale effectively.
- Develop management reporting systems and provide the CEO with clear insights into operational performance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Build a strong culture of accountability, efficiency, discipline, and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, transportation, trucking, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing complex operations and cross-functional teams.
- Strong experience in building, optimizing, and scaling operational processes.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing KPIs, performance management systems, and operational reporting.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and results orientation.
- Fluent in English, Russian, and Uzbek.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the U.S. trucking or transportation industry.
- Understanding of trucking operations, including Dispatch, Fleet Management, Safety & Compliance, and Driver Operations.
- Experience managing or supporting a growing truck fleet.
- Experience implementing ERP, CRM, TMS, or other operational management systems.
- Strong background in process automation, business optimization, and data-driven management.
- Experience working with international or U.S.-based business operations.
- Experience participating in organizational transformation or rapid business scaling.
