Product Release Manager ( Remote full-time job)

Industry leader in on-line banking technology seeks enthusiastic Product Release Managers who are excited about innovating the future of banking. Must love challenging projects, creative solutions. This position is full time in a remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Product Management, Development, Implementation, Quality Assurance and Project Management to define and execute projects that implement timely build, release and deployment of the Orpheus software.
  • Asses and agree the time tables for every Orpheus release with Project Management and Product Director, deliver plan to accomplish it and take full responsibility for meeting dead-lines
  • Assess and triage problem found during release testing cycle.
  • Facilitate and champion the quick resolution of problems found during the testing cycle.
  • Support and collaborate over building an efficient deployment process for the Orpheus deployments.
  • Identify and propagate best practices and processes within release management field.
  • Recognize trends during the release process and develop best practices based on those.
  • Generate new options for sprint cadence and development process base on the release experience.
  • Creating and maintaining the Orpheus release documentation.
  • Communicate releases related activities to all the stakeholders and take their feedback to improve the process.
  • Support of continuous integration process within organisation improving release quality and time.
  • Investigating tools and processes and integrating them so that they can improve the reliability, stability and efficiency of Orpheus releases.
  • Assess and triage problem reported by Access Softek clients during the production use of Orpheus software.
  • Facilitate and champion the quickest resolution of problems reported by Access Softek clients during the production use of Orpheus software.
  • Manage the team of developers (Tiger Team) responsible for the production issues resolution (priorities, time utilization etc).
  • Make sure that the problems are being resolved timely and with the high quality.
  • Assess and communicate any problem’s solving delays to all the stakeholders and take their feedback

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelors degree (CIS or technical field a plus)
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to work remotely, managing own and other’s time
  • Eagerness to add value to the project without extensive supervision
  • Superior communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Intelligence, enthusiasm, and commitment
  • Experience in Banking
  • Experience in formal project management
  • Experience in Product Management a plus

This position is perfect for someone who has genuine interest in software creation. Applicants need not be technical themselves, but they’ll need to be able to understand the product in all its delightful (or otherwise) complexities
