DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer for our Gomel office to make the team even stronger.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the quality of our software platforms, applications and mobile apps
• Ensure the quality of our web services and APIs
• Work collaboratively in a team of around 3 to 5 agile engineers
• Help foster an agile engineering culture
• Adopt good engineering patterns and practices
• Compile and maintain good quality documentation
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in technology (particularly relating to ecommerce, microservices and mobile development)
• Contribute to the Quality roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Engineering and other engineering leads
• Ensure quality due diligence of third party integrations

REQUIREMENTS

• Software testing experience in an Agile environment
• At least 12 months test automation experience via UI/API
• Good knowledge of and experience in test definition and management lifecycle
• Good knowledge of and experience in functional and non-functional testing methods
• Good knowledge of and experience in BDD with Gherkin and Cucumber based test automation
• Good knowledge of Java
• Some knowledge of databases, ideally including MySQL and MongoDB
• Some knowledge of ecommerce systems, preferably Hybris
• Some knowledge of ERP and warehousing systems, preferably Navision
• Some knowledge of and experience in CI pipelines and DevOps methods
• Ideally ISTQB or ISEB qualified (foundation level)
