BelPrime is a product company that builds software for Digital Marketers. Our tools include
SEO PowerSuite (professional software for full-cycle SEO campaigns) and Awario (a social media monitoring app).

We’re looking for a DevOps comrade to join an ambitious big data startup to work on a new exciting project: the masterminds behind the web’s biggest, freshest and fastest growing backlink index of over 3 trillion backlinks, with more than 2.5 Petabyte of data processed by 300+ dedicated servers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of most recent work experience as DevOps, Developer or Admin;
• proven experience setting up and configuring Linux operating systems;
• proven experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems (failed disks, erroneous memory, etc.);
• proven experience supporting a business application in the production environment, including the ability to locate and patch malfunctions;
• proven experience writing complex shell scripts;
• proven experience setting up and supporting system monitoring (Zabbix, Grafana, ELK stack);
• proven experience using configuration tools like Puppet, Chef;
• proven experience setting up and managing virtual machines and environments (Vagrant, Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes etc);
• knowledge of basic SQL;
• proven experience setting up, operating and supporting development tools, including:
• CI tools (Teamcity etc),
• build tools (Maven, Ivy etc),
• version control tools (Git, Svn etc).

Bonus points for:

• experience setting up or supporting large-scale key value storages and job pipes (Hadoop, Hbase, Cassandra, etc);
• experience setting up and managing DevOps processes and toolset across the project or larger structural entities;
• ability to code using at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, C# or otherwise).

Job responsibilities:

• development, tuning and maintenance of build, deployment, CI systems for dev, qa and production environments;
• interaction with hosting providers (placing orders for new hardware, handling disposal of the old one, submitting tickets to hoster support, responding to hoster malpractices);
• managing operating system setups and maintaining new and in-use nodes, tuning operating network- and disks-related system parameters;
• as part of the team, safeguarding the system’s high availability and stability in the production environment;
• automating various aspects of the system’s lifecycle;
• keeping key system documentation comprehensive and relevant.
