We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products. If you’re a seasoned developer with a love for back-end technologies, we’d like to meet you!

You will work with an international management consulting firm that focuses on banking and financial services. The company is headquartered in New York City with 60+ offices in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East and employs over 4,500 professionals!

The work will be mostly done from our offices, but business trips to London/Dublin are possible. Majority of Customer’s projects are data-driven.

Requirements:

• 4 + years of experience in software development;

• Strong Python experience (Pandas, Numpy, Flask);

• Good knowledge of Databases: Mongo, MS SQL;

• Strong engineering process and hygiene skills (e.g. source control, coding standards, code reviews);

• Comfortable working in an agile team (SCRUM);

• Comfortable working with a remote team;

• Knowledge of Slack, JIRA, Confluence, and other collaboration tools.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Azure is a plus.

• JavaScript: Node, Express + JS Frontend Framework or any other Full Web stack is a big plus.

English level:

• Excellent written and spoken English

Responsibilities:

• Help design and implement functional requirements;

• Build efficient back-end features in Python;

• Manage testing and bug fixes;

• Prepare technical documentation;

• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.
