Kyriba is looking for a professional System Administrator who wants to join our Operations team, which is based in San Diego, Paris, and now Minsk. Our team is responsible for availability, performance, efficiency, monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response of Kyriba’s production, development and test cloud applications

Duties and responsibilities:

- Orchestration and deployment of virtualized infrastructure and services in a hybrid DC/Cloud environment.

- Contribute to and maintain system standards.

- Research, recommend and develop innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.

- Investigate, troubleshoot, determine the root cause of system and application issues, and provide the fix so it can be applied globally.

- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures.

- Coordinate and communicate with impacted teams.

- Upgrade and configure software, deploy patches on a regular basis.

- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures and documentation.

- Assist in performing ongoing performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource optimization as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.

- Experience supporting applications and systems in a production environment.

- Experience and proficiency with one or more Cloud technologies such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Spacewalk, etc.

- Linux system administration

- Task automation experience and knowledge of scripting languages

- Proficient with and virtual machines.

- English - Intermediate. Sufficient written and verbal communications skills.

- Must have flexibility in shift hours.

- Must be available for rotational on-call and weekend support as required.

Optional requirements:

• experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• experience with Oracle RDBMS

• experience with java application support

• Knowledge of ITIL Framework principles
