SEO Expert (Remote opportunity)

AppFollow is an App Monitoring, App Store Optimization, and Customer Support platform. Our main goal is to ease the everyday routines of app developers, product managers, marketing teams, customer support etc. AppFollow helps you gather and manage your apps and games data, increase app conversion rate, improve app store rankings and app user loyalty.

We are looking for a person to accelerate our growth. This is a fully remote opportunity for a SEO Expert who is analytically driven, results-oriented, accountable and looking for a challenge in his next career step. You will be responsible for day-to-day oversight, management, and search engine performance of our website and blog. You know how to grow quality organic traffic that converts as you will be responsible for driving organic lead generation worldwide with a particular focus on the US.

While there is no dedicated SEO team yet, you’ll be able to hire various freelancers and we will provide full support (budget, tech team and writers) in order to reach our business goals.

You won’t stop if a goal is not achieved. You also are capable of working on your own, as we don't have an office. We really don't care where you are located as long as you deliver results on business goals.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Set the strategic direction for SEO as well as managing the planning and execution of SEO activities;
• Drive and increase quality traffic to our website and lead generation using both on-page and off-page techniques; Perform regular technical SEO site, content, backlinks audits. Report and present results.
• Manage web SEO performance across multiple regions, business units, verticals, and products.
• Provide analytics insight and recommendations on off-page optimization for driving organic lead generation; Conduct competitor and market leaders analysis;
• Help define our content strategy by partnering with content authors to ensure SEO guidelines are incorporated into the content production process; Educate content creators on SEO best practices;
• Managing day to day relationships with various stakeholders. Closely work with AppFollow’s marketing and dev teams in order to reach KPIs;
• Generate and present monthly SEO reports including but not limited to budget and performance reports
• Evangelize and enforce global SEO content/site guidelines.

Job requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a SEO Expert / Professional
• A proven record of organic growth of blogs and websites in the US and can easily do it from scratch
• Knowledge and understanding of every aspect of on- and off-page SEO from technical to backlink acquisition, ranking factors and search engine algorithms;
• Experience of building and managing an SEO team or close work with freelancers
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console) and analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics)
• Understanding of the mobile industry
• Knowledge of CRO and UX principles and methodologies.
• The ability to communicate well with other teams within the group as well as business unit constituents.
• Strong analytical thought process and ability to interpret findings.
• Fluent English
