SK hynix memory solutions Eastern Europe is a research and development center of SK hynix, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of semiconductor devices.

We develop and test hardware and software for flash memory controllers used in mobile devices (eMMC, UFS) and solid-state drives (SSD) as well as design, develop and manage web & mobile enterprise application, system platform and architecture to develop IT services for our 30,000+ colleagues and partners around the world.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Manager of Software Development Center demonstrate strong leadership to plan and manage SW development teams, projects, process, training and etc

Take ownership with major management agendas and communicate with the on-site administration (Local), HQ (Korea) and other stakeholders to develop and initiate operation plans, KPI, status/financial reports of the center on regular basis

Engage with development team leaders to maintain on-time delivery and quality output

Provide technical insights and to-be architecture standards as a senior architect

Execute a consultative mindset/approach to help each staff member to overcome technical/business challenges and maintain an institutional culture of mutual respect, and professional growth

Drives innovation through technology, market and customer research, to generate top and bottom-line growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study required

10+ years of experience in the SW development industry and 5+ years in a senior level operational leadership role required

Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling

Proven leadership skills and management skills and ability to multi-task required

Proficiency in Upper-Intermediate level of English (both verbal and written communication) required

Familiarity with off-shoring and/or remotely working multiple stakeholders
