Qulix is looking for an experienced UI/UX Specialist to join our Research, Development and Innovations department.

We work on comprehensive projects in the Health care, Social care, Education, etc. domains and use a modern technology stack.

Responsibilities:

• Researching and solving design challenges for existing projects: both from scratch and based on mockups.

• Creating designs using existing open models and templates. Independently exploring projects and pitching designs.

• Handling multiple projects with active task-switching.

• Collaborating with the product manager and team, while also showcasing self-sufficiency in individual tasks as required.

Requirements:

UI focused skills:

• At least 1 year of commercial experience with design systems.

• Experience crafting cross-platform designs.

• Attention to detail with engineering implementation and the ability to integrate into engineering.

• Knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML and CSS.

• Experience designing WCAG compliant, accessible interfaces.

UX focused skills:

• Experience crafting task flows that incorporate mapping data from different sources to an interface.

• Able to quickly understand constraints of a design problem, identify tradeoffs and communicate them.

• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative methods to validate design decisions and strategy.

• Design and specify wireframes and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, UX metrics, and other forms of requirements discovery.

• Produce insights reports, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.

It is okay if you are more UI focused or more UX, but you should have touchpoints across the entire process.

We also expect:

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to communicate design decisions across diverse teams and gain stakeholder buy-in.

• Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design specifications through verbal communication, writing, and organizational skills.

• Extensive knowledge about designing for web experiences, best practices, and performance optimization.

• Systems thinking – knowing how a system will be used and the potential downstream effects of large and small changes.

• Showcasing effective time-management skills to achieve results.

• Ability to work independently, efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in conversational English (at least B1+ level).
