Translation & Interpretation:

Translate technical documents, specifications, reports, and contracts between English and Russian.

Provide simultaneous/consecutive interpretation during meetings, site visits, and negotiations.

Ensure accuracy of technical terminology (e.g., process engineering, equipment specifications, safety protocols).

Documentation Support:

Review and proofread translated materials for clarity, grammar, and consistency.

Manage translation memory tools and glossaries to maintain terminology standards.

Collaborate with engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to clarify ambiguous terms.

Cross-Cultural Communication:

Adapt communication styles to suit cultural and professional contexts.

Assist in resolving language-related misunderstandings during project execution.

Project Coordination:

Support project managers by translating progress reports, RFI/RFPs, and compliance documents.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of translation experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industry EPC projects.

Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in Russian and fluency in English (C2/Advanced level).

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with petrochemical terminology (e.g., refining processes, pipelines, HSE standards).

Software Skills: Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ), MS Office, and PDF editors.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ISO standards, FIDIC contracts, or international EPC project workflows.

Knowledge of industry-specific software (e.g., SP3D, AutoCAD for reference).

Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
