Investbanq is an AI-powered wealth operating system for family offices, asset managers and banks. We are empowering traditional financial institutions to rapidly transform into AI-driven WealthTech players, enabling them to effectively capitalize on the growing wealth transfer to affluent millennials and other digital natives across emerging Asia and MENA. We are scaling quickly across Asia and MENA and are assembling a highcalibre engineering team to power our next phase of growth.

Why this role matters

The UI is the product for our customers. You’ll own everything the user sees and touches – from SSRoptimised pages that load in under1s to complex dashboards that stream market data in realtime. You’ll collaborate closely with design, backend, and product to translate business logic into intuitive, accessible interfaces that stand up to enterprise security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Build elegant, resilient UIs

• develop features with React + TypeScript and Next.js (SSR / ISR)
• compose reusable components with AntDesign and TailwindCSS, extending our designtoken system

Make it blazing fast & accessible

• optimise Core Web Vitals, implement codesplitting, lazy loading, and image optimisation

Integrate with a modern backend

• consume REST & GraphQL APIs (Apollo / React Query); handle streaming updates via WebSockets / SSE
• manage complex state while keeping bundle size lean

Own the full lifecycle

• review PRs, participate in RFCs, and drive frontend architecture decisions
• instrument apps with analytics and tracing; work with DevOps on CDN, edge caching, and observability

Requirements

Must-have

• 3+years building production SPAs in React + TypeScript
• solid knowledge of Next.js SSR/ISR, routing, and datafetch patterns
• CSS mastery: Tailwind, CSSinJS, responsive & crossbrowser techniques
• testing discipline (Jest, RTL, Cypress/Playwright)
• comfortable using REST & GraphQL APIs; understanding of caching and pagination
• git workflow, CI/CD pipelines, and code review best practices
• clear written & verbal English; thrive in distributed teams

Nice-to-have

• experience with financial dashboards, charting libs (e.g., Recharts, Highcharts)
• familiarity with Edge Functions, Next.js App Router, or RSC
• designsystem stewardship (Storybook, Figma tokens)
• performance profiling with Lighthouse, WebPageTest, or Chrome DevTools
• experience with WebSockets/SSE and realtime data visualisation
• knowledge of accessibility audits and automated tooling (axe, pa11y)
• OSS contributions, tech blogging, or speaking engagements
