- Provide back office support for client portfolio management (HNW/UHNW clients)
- Process and monitor trading activities (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX)
- Liaise with brokers, custodians, and counterparties on trade execution and settlements
- Maintain accurate records of client transactions and positions in internal systems
- Perform daily and periodic reconciliations:
- cash and positions
- balances with brokers, custodians, and counterparties
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare client reporting:
- portfolio statements
- P&L reports
- cash and asset movements
- Process client requests and transactions:
- cash deposits and withdrawals
- securities transfers
- account opening and account maintenance changes
- Support client onboarding processes in line with AIFC / AFSA requirements:
- KYC/AML documentation collection and verification
- ensure completeness and accuracy of client data
- coordinate with compliance
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory standards
- Maintain operational records and internal documentation
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives
- Provide day-to-day operational support to front office (portfolio managers, client managers, sales)
- Handle operational issues and ad hoc requests
Experience (mandatory filter)
- 2–5 years of experience in financial institutions:
- brokerage firms
- investment / wealth management firms
- banks (investment or brokerage divisions)
- Hands-on experience in back office / operations:
- transaction and position accounting
- settlements
- client operations (cash deposits/withdrawals, transfers)
- Experience with reconciliations:
- cash and positions
- balances with brokers, custodians, and counterparties
- Experience in a regulated environment:
- AIFC / AFSA (strong advantage)
- or similar jurisdictions (DIFC, ADGM, FCA)

Core Skills (must-have)
- Understanding of trade lifecycle:
from execution to settlement and booking - Knowledge of financial instruments:
- equities
- fixed income
- ETFs
- basic understanding of derivatives
- Practical experience in:
- processing client instructions (cash in/out, transfers)
- working with brokers and custodians
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large data volumes
