Purpose of the Role

Provide administrative and operational support across core Human Resources functions, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, the efficient administration of employee lifecycle processes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, technical, and logistical support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, personnel administration, compensation and benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations activities.
  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes for junior-level positions, including vacancy administration, interview scheduling, candidate communication, documentation, and onboarding, under the guidance of senior HR colleagues.
  • Provide first-level support in addressing employee queries and routine workplace concerns, escalating complex employee relations matters to the HR Manager as appropriate.
  • Support the administration and communication of employee benefits and allowances, ensuring staff receive accurate and timely information on locally administered programs.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and documentation requirements, ensuring compliance with established HR processes.
  • Prepare, process, and maintain HR documentation, including employment contracts, personnel orders, confirmation letters, reports, certificates, and other HR-related records.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical personnel records, ensuring timely filing, registration, confidentiality, and compliance with document retention requirements.
  • Ensure HR data is accurate and up to date in HR information systems and personnel files, and support regular HR reporting and data verification activities.
  • Collaborate with the HR team and supervisor to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices across Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, in alignment with University-wide HR standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree
  • At least one to two years of work experience in a customer service role
  • Previous HR experience would be an advantage
  • Experience in an international environment would be a bonus
  • Fluent in English, Russian and Kyrgyz both in written and spoken
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter with attention to detail, and experience working in a fast paced, environment.
