Responsibilities:
- Assist the Partner in establishing the objectives and the overall scope of the engagement,
- Ensure that the work is properly planned and coordinated, delegating aspects of the planning as appropriate,
- Promote ethical and professional behavior and courtesy within the engagement team and in communications with the client’s staff,
- Select sufficient suitably experienced staff that are available at the right times to carry out the work,
- Check that the working papers have been appropriately reviewed, and that the files are complete,
- Check that the audit procedures have been appropriately carried out, and that the files are complete,
- Determine that all reports to be issued reflect the work performed and meet the reporting and auditing standards of the Company’s and the profession,
- Inform the Partner promptly of client developments and problems requiring the engagement partner’s action,
- Ensure appropriate matters are brought to the Partner’s attention, including actions taken, notable information and matters for the Partner’s decision,
- Determine that the scope of the work has been carried out cost-effectively to the Company’s and professional standards by the team,
- Follow that billings are rendered to the client on a timely basis and prompt payments obtained,
- Fulfill the minimum requirements for CPE, attend external and internal courses and individual study programs, be motivated for professional improvement,
- Other duties as requested by Partner.
Required education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Auditing, Finance, Accounting or Economics
- International Recognized Professional Qualification (CPA/ACCA, ACA) or close to obtain
- KZ Licensed Auditor, or close to obtain
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in Auditing, Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or Economics will be as a plus.
Required experience:
- Minimum of 5 years progressive professional experience with proven excellence in the areas of audit and accounting. Preferably in Big 4

- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in this field,
- Strategic thinking and analytical aptitude,
- Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills,
- Ability for delegation and supervision of work,
- Adequate planning and budgeting skills,
- Focused and detailed oriented,
- Professional appearance and behavior,
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS, ISA, KZ tax legislation
- Computer skills
- Language skills: Fluent English, Russian, Kazakh is a plus.
