United Ventures is the largest state-backed venture capital fund in Uzbekistan, established by seven leading state-owned banks with an authorized capital of USD 40 million. The fund invests in technology startups at various stages of growth and actively contributes to the development of the country's innovation ecosystem through venture investments, accelerator programs, mentorship, and international partnerships.

As a Venture Associate, you will play a key role throughout the investment process. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth startup analysis, preparing investment memorandums, coordinating due diligence processes, and supporting the execution of investment transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive business, market, and financial analysis of startups shortlisted by the Investment Analyst;

• Evaluate startup business models, financial performance, unit economics, and growth potential;

• Prepare investment memorandums, analytical reports, and presentation materials for the Investment Committee;

• Analyze market size, competitive landscape, industry trends, and market dynamics;

• Build financial models, perform company valuations, and conduct cap table analysis;

• Develop recommendations on investment instruments, including SAFE, Convertible Notes, and Equity investments, and support investment structuring;

• Coordinate financial, legal, technical, and commercial due diligence processes with external experts;

• Ensure the completeness of the data room, corporate documents, financial statements, and other transaction-related documentation;

• Coordinate investment transactions with legal advisors, founders, and co-investors, and support the deal execution process;

• Prepare post-closing handover materials for the Portfolio Manager and ensure a smooth transition of completed investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;

• Minimum 1 year of experience in venture capital, investment banking, transaction advisory, management consulting, corporate finance, or financial analysis;

• Practical knowledge of investment analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation;

• Strong understanding of venture capital instruments and deal structures, including SAFE, Convertible Notes, Equity investments, and cap tables;

• Excellent command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace;

• Proficient in Uzbek, Russian, and English (all three languages are mandatory);

• Available to work onsite full-time;

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
