We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in AWS Serverless architecture to join our engineering team.

This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company’s planned team expansion.

In this role, you will design, build, and optimize cloud-native backend services that power business-critical applications. You'll work on highly scalable distributed systems, define technical architecture, and drive engineering best practices across the platform.

This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex backend challenges, designing modern cloud architectures, and building high-performance systems at scale.

• Design and develop scalable backend services using AWS Serverless technologies.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for high-traffic applications.
• Design cloud-native architectures focused on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement asynchronous processing using queues and event-driven patterns.
• Optimize application performance, caching strategies, and database access.
• Design secure cloud infrastructure following AWS best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Improve deployment pipelines and engineering processes.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Expert-level experience with AWS, including:
  • AWS Lambda
  • API Gateway
  • EC2
  • RDS / MySQL
  • S3
  • Route 53
  • CloudFront
  • ACM
  • IAM
  • Security Groups
  • AWS SAM
• Strong experience designing cloud-native and serverless applications.
• Expert knowledge of REST API design and implementation.
• Strong understanding of:
  • distributed systems;
  • caching strategies;
  • asynchronous processing;
  • messaging and queues;
  • performance optimization;
  • scalability best practices.
• Experience designing highly available production systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• English level sufficient for daily communication.

• Docker and containerization.
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Microservices architecture.
• High-load production systems experience.
• Security best practices for cloud applications.
